Floro will be called back up by the Cubs prior to Thursday's outing against the Marlins, Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Floro has spent a little time with the big-league club this season, but in his most recent appearance against the Brewers in late May, he struggled to get through two innings of work. The right-hander allowed five earned runs off seven hits during his brief stay with the Cubs. But his other relief appearance was solid, only giving up one run off six hits while striking out five in over four innings on the mound against Colorado. Floro has been relatively solid at the Triple-A level with Iowa this year, accumulating a 3.48 ERA with a 17:7 K:BB in 33.2 innings, and should be able to provide a few middle relief appearances with Chicago.
