Flexen underwent surgery earlier in March to remove a bone chip from his right knee and will be sidelined for another two weeks, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It sounds like the surgery was only a clean-up procedure, so it shouldn't be viewed as a major setback for Flexen. The 22-year-old will likely open the 2017 campaign with High-A St. Lucie or Double-A Binghamton.
