Fields has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles times reports.

With Hyun-Jin Ryu being placed on the disabled list, the Dodgers need another arm for their bullpen. Fields was excellent in his first stint in the majors -- one earned run and 12 strikeouts over seven innings of work -- and was only a roster casualty because he is one of the few Dodgers pitchers with options remaining.
