Felix Doubront was ineffective, taking the loss after allowing five runs in 2 2/3 innings in Tuesday's start against the Rangers. Doubront allowed six hits and three walks while striking out two. The lefty wasn't very effective as a part of the Red Sox rotation in 2012-13, posting a 4.59 ERA over 56 starts and two relief appearances. It's tough to expect him to be any better this season. At any rate, he'll get the Yankees his next time out on Sunday.
