Felix Doubront took his third loss of the season after allowing seven runs (three earned) in 2 2/3 innings in Thursday's start against the Yankees. As his line shows, Doubront's defense wasn't any help, committing five errors. But Doubront was wild, literally and figuratively. Along with uncorking two wild pitches and one passed ball, Doubront allowed six hits, walked two, and struck out one. The lefty has flashed some talent at times, but has been far too inconsistent over 382 2/3 career innings. He'll look to put together a quality outing against the Rays next week.
