Felix Doubront (shoulder) is scheduled to throw side sessions on Wednesday and Friday. Doubront is getting a late start this spring after experiencing some shoulder weakness upon arriving to camp. However, assuming all goes well with his side sessions this week, the plan calls for him to progress to throwing live batting practice next Monday. Still, he remains a risky proposition coming off a career-high 161 innings last year and should be monitored closely this spring.
