Felix Doubront pitched decently in Sunday's loss to the Yankees, allowing three runs on seven hits over 6 2/3 innings of work. Doubront walked three while striking out two on the evening. Most of the damage came early on, when Carlos Beltran blasted a two-run homer in the third inning. Through three starts, he now sits at 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 8/7 K/BB ratio. If he continues to struggle, Chris Capuano is lurking in the bullpen and could be given a shot to start. Doubront will look to right the ship on Saturday against the Orioles.
