Felipe Paulino (forearm strain) is scheduled to throw to hitters Thursday. Paulino made it through a bullpen session Monday with no issues. If all goes well Thursday, he could begin a minor league rehab assignment. The 28-year-old right-hander has a chance to join the Royals' rotation by the end of the month.
