Felipe Paulino (elbow, shoulder) threw a successful two-inning simulated game on Thursday. "He threw the ball well," Royals manager Ned Yost said. "Good zip on his fastball, good breaking ball. Command was a little inconsistent like you would expect it to be, but he threw the ball well." Paulino has had a couple starts and stops in the rehab from Tommy John surgery, but he now appears to be back on track. He'll throw one more simulated game Monday before resuming a rehab assignment.
