Felipe Paulino (elbow) expects to begin a minor league rehab assignment next week with Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Paulino figures to need a handful of rehab starts as he continues to build strength in his elbow following Tommy John surgery last July. If all goes well, the 29-year-old should be an option for the Royals' rotation around the All-Star break.
