Suarez allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision against the Rockies on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This was another impressive effort from Suarez, but he had to sit back and watch as Ian Kennedy served up back-to-back long balls in the ninth to squander his win. Philadelphia's closer earlier this season, Suarez transitioned to the starting rotation when Kennedy was acquired. He's gone at least five innings in each of his last four starts, allowing a total of three earned runs with a 25:6 K:BB in his last 23 innings.
