Peralta (thigh) threw live batting practice Tuesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Peralta was cleared for mound work earlier this week, and he has now quickly progressed to facing live hitters. He remains without a firm timeline for a return to San Diego, but it shouldn't take him too long to build back up as a reliever. The 33-year-old had put up a 4.50 ERA and 1.29 WHIP through 34 innings prior to landing on the injured list in July.
