Harvey (6-10) picked up the win in Friday's 4-3 victory over the Tigers, allowing six hits over 6.1 scoreless innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Only two baserunners got into scoring position against the right-hander, who has reeled off one of the most unlikely scoreless streaks in recent memory. Harvey hasn't given up a run in 18.1 innings over three starts since the All-Star break, winning all three while posting an 11:1 K:BB. None of his opponents during that stretch were particularly dangerous -- Washington, Detroit and Kansas City sit 15th, 16th and 24th respectively in wRC+ against righties -- but the 32-year-old was making even the weakest offenses look like juggernauts in the first half. He'll take a 6.20 ERA and 1.54 WHIP into his next outing.
