Locastro (knee) is scheduled to resume running later this month or in November and is on pace to be fully healthy for the start of the 2022 season, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being acquired from the Diamondbacks on July 1, Locastro appeared in just nine games for New York before he was shut down for the season just over two weeks later when he tore the ACL in his right knee while making a catch. He underwent surgery soon afterward and looks to be progressing well in his recovery, but the 29-year-old could be non-tendered by the Yankees this offseason and may have to look for a new landing spot in 2022.
