Everth Cabrera (hamstring) is expected to be placed on the disabled list Wednesday. Cabrera injured his left hamstring during Sunday's game and will now receive some extended rest. It's too bad, as the 26-year-old is in the midst of a breakout season. Alexi Amarista and Pedro Ciriaco figures to split playing time at shortstop during his absence.
