ESPN's Jim Bowden reports that the Cardinals "continue their pursuit" of Jake Peavy and Alexei Ramirez. Bowden says that the names of Carlos Martinez, Joe Kelly and Kolten Wong have been discussed as possible pieces that could head to the White Sox in a potential deal. Peavy is making $14.5 million in 2013 and 2014 and has a $15 million player option for 2015. Ramirez is earning $7 million this year and is owed a guaranteed $20.5 million through 2015.
