Escobar (hand) is back in the lineup Thursday against the Mets, James Wagner of the Washington Post reports. Escobar ended up missing two games due to the hand injury, but he was fortunate he didn't suffer anything worse than a laceration as a result of Andrelton Simmons' slide into third base Monday. The 32-year-old Escobar will step back in to the two-hole, a spot in the order in which he's gone 9-for-29 (.310 average) with five walks and zero strikeouts so far this season.
