Ernesto Frieri picked up his 31st save despite giving up a run in the ninth Friday against the Rangers. The run came on back-to-back hits with two outs. Frieri then fanned Ian Kinsler to end the game. It was the first run allowed by Frieri since Aug. 6. He's converted his last six save chances.
