Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that David Ortiz is expected to accept the Red Sox' arbitration offer. It's probably the smart move on Ortiz's part, as he's projected to receive around $16 million in arbitration and reportedly has only a two-year, $18 million offer on the table from the Red Sox. He'd like to get $25 million on a two-year deal from someone, but Big Papi probably prefers to just stay in Boston and try free agency again next offseason.
