Ellsbury suffered the injuries after making an impressive catch while crashing into the wall Wednesday night, so he'll get some time off to recover. Aaron Hicks should see the bulk of center field duties while Ellsbury is sidelined; he'll be eligible to return May 31 if he's ready.
