Ellsbury is out of Wednesday's lineup with a sore hip, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Manager Joe Girardi indicated that he's not sure if Ellsbury will be available at all Wednesday, and said he's unsure whether he'll be okay to play Friday either. The Yankees will use an alignment of Chris Young in left field, Brett Gardner in center field and Carlos Beltran in right field in his absence.
