Edgin had an MRI Tuesday and will be reassessed Wednesday, although the team has not announced the nature of his ailment yet, The Record's Matt Ehalt reports. His velocity was down for the second straight day Monday, and the team apparently is concerned that something might be wrong. He is slated to be a middle reliever for the Mets this season, so the fantasy value here is minimal. We should know more about his status in the coming days.
