Eaton went 2-for-5 with a walk, triple and two runs in Monday's extra-innings win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Eaton picked up his second triple in four days, putting him on pace to break his career-high of 10 triples from his first season in Chicago. The left-handed outfield has ideal numbers (in terms of plate discipline, contact rate and OBP) for a leadoff man, but that doesn't necessarily translate into fantasy value. His power is way down from last season's 14-homer outbreak, thus putting him back in line for a mid-30s RBI total. Eaton is a solid outfield option in most formats, but the early goings of 2016 indicate that last season's breakout performance may wind up being an outlier in his career.
