Eaton was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a strained left knee, Mark Zuckerman of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This isn't all too surprising given that Eaton was unable to walk off the field under his own power after sustaining the injury Friday. It's unclear how serious the issue is or how long he will be sidelined, but more should be known on his status after the Nationals release his MRI results. Eaton was off to a nice start in his first season with the Nats, slashing .297/.393/.462 with 24 runs and three stolen bases through 23 games. In a corresponding move, Rafael Bautista was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse.
