Eaton (shoulder) went 0-for-3 as the DH in the White Sox's loss to the Dodgers on Thursday. Manager Robin Ventura said after the game that Eaton is still building up his throwing strength, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Eaton continues to progress in his return from offseason shoulder surgery, but at least it appears as if the recovery will not keep him out of the batter's box. There is no concern at this point of the injury impacting Eaton's regular season availability. However, fourth outfielder J.B. Shuck could see more time in center in the early part of the year.
