Moronta (2-1) earned the win Wednesday against Houston, allowing one hit and two walks over one inning while striking out one.

Moronta entered the game in the bottom of the ninth and issued a pair of two-out walks to load the bases, but he was able to retire Jose Altuve to end the inning. The Diamondbacks followed with three runs in the top of the 10th to put Moronta in line for the win. The right-hander has not allowed a run in his last three appearances and has given up three runs through 12 outings in September.
