Duvall was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on Monday, MLB.com reports. Duvall has been one of the most fearsome sluggers in the PCL this season with 26 homers and 19 doubles over 86 games with Triple-A Fresno, but the success didn't translate during his limited time with the Giants. He's batted just .180 over 61 at-bats during multiple stints with the big club, resulting in his demotion back to the minors. He'll likely return to the big club at some point in September.
