Dustin McGowan (foot) resumed his throwing program Monday. McGowan will play catch on flat ground every other day for the next few weeks before being cleared to return to the mound. He's been sidelined since mid-March due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot and seems unlikely to be ready for major league action before late-May.
