Dustin McGowan (foot) is expected to begin the season on the disabled list. McGowan, who signed a new two-year, $3 million contract with the Jays this week, is currently sidelined with plantar fasciitis in his right foot. The injury isn't considered serious, but he simply won't have enough time to get stretched out. Brett Cecil and Kyle Drabek should both open the year with rotation spots.
