Dustin Ackley hit the first homer allowed by Atlanta's Jonny Venters in 51 innings this season when he took the left-hander deep in the eighth inning Wednesday. Now that's pretty impressive. It was a two-run shot that only managed to narrow the Braves' lead from four to two, but it was still quite an accomplishment. Ackley is hitting .300 with two homers and six RBI in 12 games for the Mariners.
