Duffy started at third and batted second for the Giants on Wednesday, going 1-for-4 with his first career home run in the loss to the Rockies. Duffy has been seeing regular playing time with Casey McGehee (knee) sidelined and has gone 4-for-17 (.235) with a homer and three RBI. McGehee was available to pinch-hit Wednesday and should be back in the lineup soon, which would effectively push Duffy back into a bench role.
