Duffy (elbow) is scheduled to throw off the mound Wednesday, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.

Duffy will return to the mound for the first time since being placed on the disabled list on Aug. 26 with left elbow impingement. Though it's encouraging to see Duffy advancing his rehab to mound work, the veteran hurler remains without a firm timetable for return. An update on his condition should arise following his workout Wednesday.
