Duffy (elbow) felt "really good" following another throwing session Friday, and appears in line for Sunday's start against Cleveland, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy remains the expected starter for Sunday's series finale, although he's likely going to be on a strict pitch count, limiting his total to around 65 pitches. He hasn't made a start since Aug. 22 against the Rockies, when he allowed two earned runs over six innings. Throughout the year, Duffy has been the ace of Kansas City's staff, but expectations should be tempered against the white-hot Indians, especially with a relatively low pitch count.
