Duda is out of the lineup Monday against the Giants. Since June 15, Duda is batting just .162 with one homer and four RBI. The extended slump probably isn't enough to cost Duda his starting job, but manager Terry Collins will give him a mental break Monday with the hope the time off helps out the slugging first baseman. He'll be replaced in Monday's lineup by Michael Cuddyer.
