Duda (back) was taken out of Wednesday's contest for precautionary reasons according to manager Terry Collins, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Duda was removed after being hit by pitch in the back, but Collins indicated that he was only scheduled to play another half-inning before his day was done anyway. It's still possible the team will elect to continue playing it safe and hold the 28-year-old out another day or two, but it appears he avoided anything more than just a minor issue.
