Duda (back) is close to beginning a minor-league rehab assignment, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Duda has been sidelined since April 26 with a lumbar strain. He underwent a follow-up MRI on Tuesday, but everything came back clean and the veteran slugger was able to field grounders and take batting practice prior to Wednesday's game against the Rangers.
