Judge went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Judge's 24th double of the season proved to be the most consequential play of the night, as he plated the go-ahead runs in the seventh inning to help the Yankees secure a series sweep while surging ahead of the Red Sox in the American League wild-card race. The Red Sox defense did Judge some favors in allowing the clutch hit to come to fruition; first baseman Bobby Dalbec and catcher Christian Vazquez both failed to corral foul balls that prolonged Judge's at-bat before the slugger lined a ball to the left-center gap. Judge is batting a mere .217 in September, but he's made the most of his 20 hits on the month with eight home runs and 17 RBI.
