Doolittle was transferred to the 60-day DL on Saturday, CSN California's Joe Stiglich reports. This rules him out for almost all of July, and opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for A.J. Griffin, who was activated from the 60-day DL on Saturday. Tyler Clippard remains the A's closer going forward.
