Doolittle threw 15 pitches in a bullpen session Friday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. Doolittle continues to work his way back from a shoulder issue, and is apparently working on new grips for both his changeup and slider. It's unclear what role he would serve when returning to the bullpen, but he could be in competition for saves if Tyler Clippard were to falter.
