Doolittle (shoulder) will not be activated from the DL until Tuesday at the earliest, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports. Doolittle said Saturday that he feels as good as he has since the injury. He topped out at around 90 mph in Friday's rehab appearance and will throw again Sunday before being reevaluated Monday. Manager Bob Melvin said Doolittle would not immediately take over the closer role when he rejoins the team, but said the team needs him there when he is ready.
