Doolittle (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL on Saturday. It's a strain of the left shoulder that's forced Doolittle back onto the DL after a lone appearance against Detroit earlier in the week. Doolittle, who missed most of the first two months with a slight rotator cuff tear, was replaced on the active roster by Angel Castro.
