The A's are already said that Doolittle will miss the beginning of the 2015 season, but it appears he is progressing and he should reclaim the closer role as soon as he is ready. Manager Bob Melvin said on Sunday that the depth of the A's bullpen will allow the team to not have to rush Doolittle back.
