Doolittle (oblique) will throw a bullpen session in Chicago on Monday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. The lefty threw 20 pitches off of flat ground Saturday and thus received the green light to return to mound work. There was some hope Doolittle would be activated Monday when first eligible, but it now sounds like he won't be reinstated until a bit later in the week.
