Doolittle (oblique) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session from flat ground without any issues Saturday and will be with the team for next week's road trip, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports. He is expected to throw one or two regular bullpen sessions before being activated from the DL, which will likely happen on the road trip which starts in Chicago before heading to Seattle for a weekend series. It would probably be a stretch for him to be activated in Chicago, but Seattle would seem like a legitimate possibility.
