Doolittle has officially been activated from the disabled list, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. As expected, Doolittle will come off the DL Tuesday after a successful throwing session Sunday. While Doolittle won't immediately take over as the closer, he figures to reclaim the role at some point down the road.
