Donnie Murphy hit a game-tying, two-run homer off of Stephen Strasburg with two outs in the ninth inning of Thursday's loss to the Nationals. Murphy had struck out in each of his first three plate appearances, but he stunned Strasburg by lofting a ball into the left-field bleachers to knot things up at four. The 30-year-old journeyman has now gone deep eight times in 16 games since being called up by the Cubs. He'll return to earth soon enough, but ride the wave while you can.
