Donaldson was held out of the lineup Sunday as a precaution after he suffered a knee injury during his final at-bat Saturday, Joe Stiglich of CSN Bay Area reports. Donaldson apparently lobbied to play Sunday, but the team decided it was a prudent move to send him in for a precautionary MRI. Assuming the MRI comes back clean, there's a good chance Donaldson will return to the lineup within a couple of days.
