Donaldson failed to reach base in either of his first two at-bats, but he got on with a walk in the fifth before spraying around three singles in his final three trips to the place. He experienced an abbreviated Spring Training schedule due to a calf problem, but Monday's opener is an excellent sign for fantasy owners that he put in enough work to establish a rhythm at the plate.
