Dodgers signed LHP Chris Capuano to a two-year, $10 million contract. The deal, which became official after Capuano passed a physical, will also contain $1 million in possible incentives based on innings pitched. Capuano posted a 4.55 ERA and 1.35 WHIP while striking out 168 over 186 innings for the Mets this season, but it's worth noting that his ERA at spacious Citi Field (3.82) was much better than his mark on the road (5.42). He'll at least have another pitcher-friendly home park to pitch in, and we like him to be a solid back-end starter as long as he stays healthy (which is obviously far from a given).
