Dodgers recalled SS Dee Gordon from Triple-A Albuquerque. With Rafael Furcal now on his way to St. Louis, Gordon could start at shortstop for the Dodgers through the end of the 2011 season. The 23-year-old batted .232/.250/.280 in 85 plate appearances with the club earlier this year. He swiped eight bases.
